Default battery moved to trunk

well today i got bored and moved the battery in the red r/t to the trunk...it isnt finished yet, but it works, andi still need to get the battery box.....but what im wondering is, where do i put the vent to????? from the battery box, then to where????
and, what am i supposed to use for the vent tube????

run a vent tube down through the spare tire and silicone around it, its the only thing i can think of.

whats the vent for? lol. i know batteries can over heat but doesn't it require A LOT of heat?

lead acid battery can make hydrogen gas (explosive) mostly only if it has an over load current or charging. Not to mention sulfuric acid could leak leak from the cells.

i was thinking of running the vent tube to one of the little slot vents alredy in the car behind the rear bumper cover located between the wheel well and the tail lights.......but i dont know what to use....or how big the vent needs to be

i was thinking something like silicone hose or teflon should be reisitanl enough to the acid. Most of the kits that ive seen use some sort of clear tube .
