i dont get it. everyone says the neon is a waste of time to put money into it. they were askin y i didnt just get an integra or a civic hach. they say you can "do" more stuff to a civic. they think im wastin my time by puttin a turbo on it.

 

same reason i get, "ur car is a peace." and "ricer". i dont have anything aftermarket yett not even big oll spoiler."you and ur neonn lol"
its jst to getr on ur nerves. besides try to race a civiv or something and beat um thattll shut them up.

yea well i might try that after my turbo but his car does like high 12s andhis engineis naturally aspirated.

 

lol i get it too from alot of unknowing people. they say my srt is just a neon... sure it is =P just brush it off, dont bother explaining to them the power potential, they wont understand. tao of the neons.

 

there was a post just like this on here a few monthes ago....
people hate what they dont know.....
there arent that many people in my town that dis neons since mine has been built....it hasnt even left the driveway yet, but everyone know about it

 

they can probably hear it from your driveway lol.

 

lol i heard his car over here.....the tao is not just for neons you know i got the same tao feeling with my stratus

 

people talk so much crap about neons because not as many people race them as hondas so they think "that car is a piece of ugly junk"
which neons aren't the best looking cars...
the people that i've talked to that knows the reputation of neons in autocross and track racing respect them a lot more but if they are stubborn *** people (which a lot of today's youth is) they will be narrow minded and think their hondas are the best things ever


oh and the SRT4 is just a neon with a body kit....

 

ahh who really cares what they think. if you really care what people say then you are young and will eventualy grow out of it. . . only in time

 

besides....you can do almost just as much to a neon as you can a civic....the neons parts just cost more ince there isnt as high of a demand
