whats is the bigest engine put into a neon??

I was just wondering what the biggest motor put into one i already have a plan for mine i was just curious what the biggest motor was

 

someone has put a V8 in one

 

I acually seen that its pretty crazy but i dont know what size v8 or what it looks like in the car theres a vid of it on photobucket its yellow but never shows the motor but you can sure hear it

 

they fabricated the whole front end for it to fit and i think there are numerous ones

they probably just used a dodge v8

 

I'd love to see some pics or another vid on it or pics of the swap

 

What about the 3.4 from the Pontiac Grand Am GT??

 

i guy i used to work for had a 95 neon coupe with ahighly moddedsmall block 400 in it.....nothing like a 7 seond neon

 

Why theF U C K would you want to throw anything but a Mopar motor in there? Just get a Grand Am and quit wasting our time. Not trying to be rude but at least stay with Chrysler Corp engines, don't be a hick and throw something that doesnt belong in there.That would be like trying to mix water and oil.

I found a nice two door Neon that I am throwing a 331 Hemi in, the engine is pretty much squared at 30 inches long to 32 inches wide. The most fabrication I will have to do is making the firewall bigger so I can fit a bellhousing in there. Its a crazy Idea for sure but at least its a Mopar Engine.
