Default ECU Questions

Ok so i wanna get a new ECU for my 95 highline SOHC ATX what is the best swap for my money? also how diffucult would it be to replace? what all is involved in changing it out?

i've heard that for the atx you can get an af/x ecu

but i think you can use the mopar pcm if you make modifications

They only make one for the MTX. You can use it on an ATX but you either have to add a tranny cooler or hook up a toggle switch to activate your lockup torque converter. If it doesn't engage at freeway speeds it will burn up your tranny.

Howell Automotive is the only place that sells them. But buyer beware...they have terrible customer service. Try and look for a used one on ebay. Also you can ONLY use a 95 PCM on your car. They are not interchangeable with other years.

Thanks man that is some usefull information, glad I asked instead of possibly burning up my tranny

Edit

When was the last time you saw them on their site? all i see is for the MTX
