thanks everyone for the replies. it's hard to say when i'll actually have time to get to this because i am at school now. i'm having the rents send up the stock pcm to give that a try first off. i'm really hoping my 400 dollar computer isnt down the drain though. if that doesnt work (which i hope it doesnt) i'll look into the relay. on that note, any way to know if the relay is bad before just replacing it? any resistance checks i can do or anything?

thanks....hopefully i'll have some time soon to take a look at it. kinda trying to avoid bringing it back to a shop when i can do it myself but like i said, my time and access to tools is short because i'm at school. i'll post it up when i figure it out

 

btw it turned out to be the fan relay. it was blown due to a corroded section of the wiring harness leading to the relay
