how do you turbo a car with aautomatic trans what do you do i mean is there stilla need for a new cluch....i clearly don't know about automatics at all

 

well since an automatic doesnt have a clutch, there is no need for one.......[8D]
just slap the turbo on and go....thats pretty much all you can do unless you get a performance valve body

 

thanks a millonspud i was wondering if they had cluches i did not know because i have never needed to take apart a automatic besides my bonneville but i did not know if newer ones had them. this is cool no $500 clutch for this one too

 

ATX Turbo neons are great.

Brake boosting is nice!

 

this is just a dumb but what is brake boosting[>:]im getting dumber just great[&:]

 

basically brake torqueing without breaking the tires loose.....
hold the brake and hit the gas a little.....helps build up boost for a strong launch..
its alot of fun to do in my moms wrx

 

is that bad on anything?[&:]if not that sounds fun

 

If you do it for a long time it can be bad, but in short 15-20 second intervals....it's fine!
