Default Crankshaft? please help

I have a 96 2.0 sohc neon automatic. I bought a 95 2.0 sohc manual stratus engine for it. My question is, do you have toswap the crank for it to interchange?

the 95's crankbearing journals area bit larger then the rest of the years....anyways it is in a neon, should be the same for a stratus....
what are you swapping??? if your using the 95 block then you will have to use the 95's crank

I want to interchange the motors. Put the 95 motor(out of a manual)in the 96 car(automatic). I was told that the 95 motorhas a different crank(because it is a manual), therefor it will not work with theautomatic transmission(1996). I have know idea!!!

when i had my motor build the shop accidentally ordered main bearings for a 95.....the tnags were opposite sidded, but the bearings themselves were a larger diameter and they wouldnt even fit in the journals[&:]

thats weird because i ground the tangs in a bedplate from a 95 to accept the newer bearing and raced it all season, lol.
not saying its not possible, anything can happen with chrystler.

i thought they were all the same size too....thats why i thought it was weird
the diameter of the bearings was about a 1/4" larger on the ones they ordered for me instead of what i needed.....aparentally they are also the same bearings as the mitsu. 4g63
