I want to interchange the motors. Put the 95 motor(out of a manual)in the 96 car(automatic). I was told that the 95 motorhas a different crank(because it is a manual), therefor it will not work with theautomatic transmission(1996). I have know idea!!!
when i had my motor build the shop accidentally ordered main bearings for a 95.....the tnags were opposite sidded, but the bearings themselves were a larger diameter and they wouldnt even fit in the journals[&:]

the diameter of the bearings was about a 1/4" larger on the ones they ordered for me instead of what i needed.....aparentally they are also the same bearings as the mitsu. 4g63
