hi i have a 97 neon with a 2.0 SOHC and iam blowing the fuel pump fuse, so i replaced the o2 sensors because they needed it anyway and i heard they cause that to blow. when i put the new sensors in the fuse blew right when i plugged them in but ran with them unplugged. so i thought it was the sensors, put another new set in and the same problem again. with the sensors unplugged it will run for a little bit and then blow the fuse, so i checked the amps going to the fuel pump and they were 6.8 amps, and its a 20 amp fuse so its not overloading. so i dont think its the o2 sensors or the fuel pump, what could it be? any ideas would help out tons, thanks

 

figuring out a problem with the fuel pump fuse is alot of work.....it could be anything from the fuel pump or pcm or the whole engine wireing harness
