Is there a Performance Transmission for the neon cuz i know my friend with the civic got a performance trans well i dont know if it was performance one but it was i guess better

so is there a performance trans if so let me know

so will the DOHC Manual Trans Fit on My SOHC manual ?
what will this do for me if it is possible?

 

you can get yours kinda beefed up so it wont break as easily. but no upgraded transmissions that i know of. Mabye a grabby grab clutch!

You can swap from a SOHC MTX to a DOHX MTX all day. But what you want is an R/T or ACR or 95 sport MTX. They all have the 3.94 tranny that us better for acceleration on a N/A neon.

 

but when buying from a parts store or something how do i find the R/t transimission cuz all it says is transmission it doesnt say for an DOHC or a Sohc.. so how do i know

 

The ones with the 0.81 5th gear have a part # of 04670234 or 04670234AC and the one with the 0.72 5th gear have a part #04670664.
