Default RE: how hard is it to instal the UDP

well for the amp sucking it hits F-ing hard way harder then the 4000 wattt i had

its a 2 channel 1200 watt and i have each 1200 watt sub hooked to a channel

and its pretty damn loud for only being 1200 watts

so unless you were saying 500 watts achannel then you would be correct but 500 watts total would be 250 watts a channel

but im upgrading to pioneer subs probely
there at my radio shack for like 240 bucks for 2 -12's with enclosures but idk .. ill get some pics and let me know what you think about that series

you cant tell me brand doesnt make a differance...

the kid has like 2-300 watt Kickers hooked to a 2 channel 300 watt and it hits pretty good almost as good as mine...
andi have 2400 watts worth of subs hooked up to 1200 which i figure is pushing just right becuz its 1200 watts max and prolly like 500 or600rms

exacly what subs and amps do you have (model #).

sometimes there can be a big diffrence in RMS watts and max watts. im guessing your running 4 OHMS to eash channel

you cant tell me brand doesnt make a differance...
just stay with your setup as long as your happy with it who cares what brand it is.

you may have 1200 watt subs....but that doesnt say too much...
the sub can handle a max power of 1200 watts, but thats peak not rms....the subs will actually blow long before you are ever able to get 1200 watts to them because of the distortion the amp puts out

if you have a 2 channel amp with 1 sub hooked to each channel then the amp is probally only pushing out about 400 watts peak per channel which would be roughly about 200 watts rms since the subs should be running at 4 ohms.....

there are only a few companies that are reliabe on the power ratings.....audiobahn is pretty good, but orion is awsome, or if you can find an old school PPI amp......i like my pheonix gold, but it wouldnt of been my 1st choice......
ignore what the power rating of the amp is and go by the fuses....the more fuses and the higher the amp rating of them, the more power it has

Spud i don't mean to argue with you but that fuse comment the more fuse now a days is a cheaper power supply.
