how hard is this installation cuz i know when i get money it will be one of the parts.. is this pulley a part of the alternator pulley??

cuz im thinking im gonna hve to take the old alternator pulley off and replace with the UDp

the udp is for the crankshaft....
its not to hard to do .. take passenger front wheel off and it right there to get at. use the right puller and its a breeze.

 

i haven't done this modification but i heard that you have to put the udp in an oven to heat it up so it will be easier to fit onto the crankshaft


and an underdrive pulley is just a light weight crank shaft pulley btw

and you WILL need a different belt because the stock one is too long
try getting the one off of modernperformance.com since it comes with the belt

 

you can measure out the length of the belt you need by taking a string and wrapping it around the accessorys and then measure the strings length!

 

lol i had more problems removing the stock belts then putting on the new stuf i got the mpx udp witch came with beltsand i love it.

 

If your going to use udp and a big stereo system watch it. Because all of your accessories are going to be turning slower

 

when im reinstalling the crank pulley i usually set the pulley on the crank, then use a large socket as a punch and hit it a few times with a hammer.....then once the center bolt can hit threads, just get on it with a good impact wrench and run it the rest of the way on...
its pretty easy, but as said before, if you have the right kind of puller and an impact wrench, then the old one can come off pretty quickly

 

about the system ill probably not have one after i get outa highschool cuz mostly its just a show thing and i really LOVE bass but i can loose the system to get a few extr hp maybe

 

you dont need a big system to get really loud bass....
