Default Car runs like a raped ape on rainy days..

Ok, as the title says my car runs like a raped ape on rainy days, it has such acceleration I would love to have itall the time what can I do (if anything) to unlock the "rainy day" performance everyday? Is it the IAT/Map sensor or is it the EGR playing with me or what? I would love to know how to get the car to have this kick in the pants acceleration all the time. Whatever it is it seems as if it has something to do with low pressure not temperature. I've driven the car on 55 degree nights this week and it didnt have the extremepower till it rained, so i don't think it has anything to do with outsidetemp.

I got coffee just now and whenI was at the stop lights I almost put my front end into somebodys car because it shifted from all the power on the rainy surfacelike NEVER before. I could barely light my tires up on wet surfaces a week agonow its going crazy throwing itself into the other lane and my tires are in great shape tread wise.

Any Idea's?

Thanks

My guess, probably wrong but whatever, is when it rains it gets colder out so therefore the colder air? not sure but when i went to my brothers house 3.5 hours away i babyed my car all the way there 55 mph etc. 3 hours into it this jackass was tailgating me so i slowed right down to like 30 in a 45 on a double solid and when it hit passing i smashed the gas hard and it took off like nothing before it was crazy.

I was thinking colder air as well but we've had colder nights than today was and it didn't have as much, thats why I thought low pressure or something else.

It started out by me being used to doing half throttle launches like I normally do just to get movingand all of sudden I wasn't ready for it and the front end swung out on me and I almost side swiped somebody in the right lane. Once the person in the right lane passed I decided not to waste such a burnout so I juiced it up to 5500Rpm and it was just roachig the tires (even had thick SMOKE), it was such an abnormal power gain it was like I added a Turbo or something, it wasreally out of the ordinary. It was morelow endpower than I've ever felt in my life out of any 4cylinder car I've driven. I would liketo know why it does this so I can find a way to have the car keep its power.

Honestly I'm baffled the thing hauled so much *** its got me stunned. Maybe myPCMis frying itself or grounding out...lol

Somebody was very nice and PM'ed me andcomfirmed my theory:

The IACmotor controls changes in Barometric Pressure (among other things, but I'm just concerned with barometric pressure) in conjunction with the throttle position sensor and the IAT sensor among other sensors..

From what I was toldthe IACcould be the reason for the inconsistant throttle response and extreme changes in power.

humidity can actually reduce air density and performace
