did any first gens come witha stock cd player? .. i puta cd palyer in my car but it skips alot and im lookin to find a stock one for the stock look ... thx

they were a more common option from 98-99....but yes they did come in them
i have 1 in the wifes neon, but it came out of my dakota and i dont think she would part with it

its just going to fail again, i have three that are all trashed.............. better off buying a $100 aftermarket

My stock one from my 99 is still going strong and reads CDR's too!

Believe it or not Wal Marts $40Durabrand Cd player doesnt skip at all and plays any CD you throw in it. I made a hard choice to try it when my Sony cd player died but this Wal Mart one is pretty good.

the stock cd player out of my 97 dakota plays perfectly.....cdr's as well without any problems...and thats even 10 years old
