Okay...so I put a fuel pressure gauge/regulator (just wanted the gauge part of it) on the car and I'm running 49 psi even with a leak from the regulator hoses. So we have eliminated the fuel pump...unless of course it is losing voltage while I'm driving. My next step is going to be the catalytic convertor. What would happen if I just gutted out the converter on the car (no emissions laws here in Nova Scotia)? Also, what would happen if I switched the o2 sensors (wire the rear one to the front and vise versa)?

Yes you have 2. One upstream (on the exhaust manifold) and the downstream (just after the cat converter).

make sure its not your Vacum line . Ive had this happen too me and it was my vacum line . make sure your tubes are not rotting away , because mine were and i went to autozone got some tubes and fixed it in a hour and worked GREAT . My o2 senior is off and i need a new one but it dont mean its that. Check your vacum line.

Thanks.
