I'm gonna use the Turbo mostly for low end *****, I've talked to some people at Hahn and they said I should be fine with 7psi of boost on a stock SOHC especially since I'm using the DOHC pcm which gives a little more advance and fuel.

Hahn uses Mitsubishi Turbos which generate quite a bit of heat compared to other designs like Garrett but they spool really fast which is nice : ) but aslo the extra heatgives your engine a better chanceof getting sparkknock.

I've allready planned that incase I get spark knock I will first use Acetone (they recomend 3-4 ounce per 12 gallons of gas) this will eliminate spark knock while cooling the combustion chamber down quite a bit. My brother used this for years in his 1969 Camero drag/street car with 13:1 compression to eliminate knock and clear up high punch. Pretty much the 110 octane race gas wasnt enough for his 13-1 compression, but 87 gas mixed with a few ounces of Acetone they say gives an octane rating of 125+, not to mention you get 5-10miles ormore per gallon depending on applications. The only time my Neon has got more than 310 miles on a tank was when I was using a mix of 87 andAcetone.

I kinda wanted to wait on the intercooler because they recomend intercoolers after 10psi because of lag and severe heat after 10 psi so I'll wait to see how the 7psi goes.

yeah 2500 Rpm on mine is when it grows ***** as well, when I replaced my Timing belt and put it all back together it had major ***** for 3 days, now it kinda has gotten slower off the line its not the worst right now but I'm not exactly asconfident in aoff the line raceas I was when it was running so good last week.

So right now I'm wondering what causes the change in off the line power as the 2500Rpm+ range is always consistant no matter the weather.
So you are going to put a turbo on a motor that is doing what you stated above good luck

the Mopar Performance is fine. if you want to step it up theres the Af/x from Howard. but expect to wait a lonnnng time. and dont put in a DOHC pcm unless u have a DOHC.
