Default o2 sensors

I have a question...I have a 96 neon acr and if i remove the Catalytic convertor will i need to do something about o2 sensors or will everything be good??

just put it in the pipe and itll be fine

so were i take the cat out and install a peice of exaust pipe just put the sensor there?

i keep hearing that the cat is really restrictive..and robs power at least thats what the guy at the muffler shop said. should i just get a high flow cat?

The neon cat isn't very restrictive at all. I doubt you gain anything from removing it and have yet to see any "proven" gains by removing it.

i dont have a downstream 02 sensor hooked up on my red r/t....i just have to deal with the check engine light but i dont care since the light is actually on because of 5 different things....
anyways, getting rid of the downstream wont make the car run any different....you just have the light

i havent got an o2 code on the 4 ive dont it to, my cousin's car, or any of the race cars, you should be ok.
