Default I know this is gonna sound stupid But.....

Ok on the stock Air intake Tube there is a plastic plug in the shape of a smalltube with a curvein the rear of the AirIntake tubethat hangs downtoward the air filter housing, What is its use?

It almost looks as if it was meant to hook up to a turbo but no 1gen Neons had turbo...so I'm baffled.

its for condensation to fall into and evap instead of going into your intake manifold.

or water if you happen to suck some in......
basically its just like a water/air separator for an air compressor

It is resonator to quiet the intake down. Think about when you put on a cold air or warm air intake how much louder it gets

The funny thing is, is that when I take the plastic tube thing out that it fits perfect over my Turbo's outlet almost as if it was made for it, and it also sits over the same spot wherethe turbo will eventually sit.

It looks this will help me set mod my turbo on to my careasier : )

So you are going to use plastic on the pressured side of the turbo cause you said outlet.

i honestly dont really think that plastic pipe will hold up to the heat and pressure of the turbo
