Default power gains?????????/

went to the junk yard to get a steering wheel and thought about getting an ATX throttlebody but wasn't sure what kind of gains i would be looking at. definatly gonna get it before i go turbo. but is it a noticable difference?

what about switching from a SOHC PCM to a DOHC PCM? looking for a quick bolt on thats somewhat noticable. especially on the low end of the RPM range

it wont do anything cept possibly make your car run like crap. keep it the SOHC one but upgrade it to the MP PCM or the Af/x from Howell.

could just get rid of the SOHC muffler and put in a DOHC one. that will give some gains.

You are Crazy, at worst you wont notice any difference, I have a DOHC PCM from an Automatic on my car and it dumps a tad more fuel in whichI can tell from gas mileage from prior to the swap, This PCM is best for turbo applications, bigger ThrottleBodys, throttlebody spacer any intake or pretty much anyperformance upgrade you do. The best power gain I got from my stock DOHC pcm was 5hp says the Gtech. It was a consistant gain after manybaselines with my original pcm so I know I'm not just believeing it to believe it.

The power is gained at around 5500 Rpm+ so its nothing that your going to feel off the line.

Anybody who disses the Gtech is a person who has never owned one...lol

Uh the atx throttle body does add alittle horsepower. It is like 5 to 10 horsepower and i think it is closer to 5 hp.
