hey spud. just a question about the paint on the car? do you have a buffer or anything? i used to work in a detail shop i could give you some tips to make the paint look almost new again. i noticed it was kinda dull. and yes even through the dirt i can see its dull.

 

no i dont have a buffer.....though it is on my list of stuff to get eventually...
it is kinda dull, but it cleans up nice when its washed....but not nice enough[&:]

the taillights dont look too bad but it sure was alot of work to get the clean plastic off.....my hands still hurt[8D]

 

damn it **** **** ***! just got back from the JY and the F%$^%^n car has already been crushed. F&%K! that woulda been so sweet. i was gonna just use a dremel to cut off the clear parts. man. now i gotta pay 130 on ebay. DAMN!

I had a set of tail lights like that spud but were crome. Someone backed into me and broke the drivers lens out of it. It heald up good only problem was the crome started to flake off after a period of time.

 

i thought about getting the chrome ones at 1st, but then i just figure that the darker colors would look better with the red since i didnt have any other chrome on the car

 

If it does the same thing mine did the only thing you will have to do is probley repaint the CF other then that i had no other problems with that lens missing.

 

I think you need to leave the lights alone and get to work on that engine again!

ther isnt much work i can do on the engine if i dont have itthe block is still at the shop and i cant buy the pistons until i magicaly find some money....within a few days im gonna rip the konis off to get redy to put up for sale, then i should have the money for the piston and some gaskets....
yesterday i started putting together my back-up motorso it should be in the car by mid next week..maybe earlier
