Default H.I.D. Headlights

along with my new brakes i put on my new headlights this weekend. i also picked the headlights for looks instead of performance really. my old ones were oxidized beyond functionality. I clear coated these ones to maybe help protect them. my low beams are just as bad now as before. if you don't have fog lights then don't get these lights. my fog lights produce a ton more light than my low beams do now. I even have aftermarket silver star bulbs in for low beams.

originally i had dual beam 9007's, but this setup uses the same plug to split them up. i dont know what the high beams are but they lows are 9006's now. i got these off of ebay for less than $130. it had my lights, signals, and even side markers. it also included new bulbs for all and had orange side marker bulbs to replace my factory clear ones. i was pleasantly suprised by this.

I was not pleasantly suprised when my haynes manual told me to work from within the bumper fascia to get the last headlight bolt off that i could even see. if you're going to do this just take your grill and front bumper cover off. it'll save you time and frustration. four bolts from underneath, a couple torx from inside the fender, and two bolts behind the core support gets the bumper cover off in like seven minutes

for my 99 the screws that hold the turn signals in place thread sizes were different on the new ones, so to use the old screws i had to take the clips from the old headlight assemblys and put them on my new set. the high beams in this set i got are ridiculously bright. so im am overall pretty satisfied. the low beams suck cuz of the hid look on them but at least they look cool and i have fog lights.

these are ebays. the low beams suck but the high beams kick major ***. if you dont have fog lights then you'll hate these lights cuz you cant see **** with ur low beams. thanks though i like the way they look. since my old lights were crap the low beams actualy didnt change any worse or better.
