RE: im getting a turbo
I was under the impression the SRT-4 intercoolers would get heatsoaked before you were out of 3rd gear? My buddie's 04 SRT would do that a good bit, and the one end tank is a very poor design for flow. You could still get a really good universal on ebay for $70-$100 shipped. I got my 27"x9"x3" core with 2.5" in/out for $70 shipped! Rated to 500 horsies.
Not trying to say it's the worst intercooler, but IMHO there's so many better out there, otherwise the SRT guys wouldn't be getting rid of them so fast.

RE: im getting a turbo
i would just go with the srt 4 intercooler. it souldent have problems with heat soak as long as your not running really high amouts of boost and its mounted in a position where it gets some air.

RE: im getting a turbo
most srt guys replace the stock itecooler for a big front mount.....and as said, bigger turbo = moe boost which means there is alot more air that needs to get cooled....
the cheap ebay intercoolers are junk....the core design for air flow is very poor.....works more like a regular radiator then an intercooler should
