Well some ******* snapped my antenna down to the very bottom. Now is it possible to remove whats left of it and install a new one? i know some antennas cant be replaced and idk if a Neon is one. All i ended up doing was destroying the sealant around the antenna and some black casing[:@]

 

well i was god damn detirmined to replace the antenna today. So i ended up taking off the fender. Screwing off the antenna from its housing. Pealing back the metal casing because i couldnt grip the lil adapter piece that was still left. Took it out replaced it witha working one. Put everything back together. and now i have an antenna ahhhhhh

 

good job man! neons are like legos, everything comes apart. one way or the other.

 

hah for serious. I just need another job so i can start saving up for my turbo project. Gonna get the turbo pistons and cams before the actual turbo. Luckily christmas is around the corner

 

i havnt had an antenna on my car since i bought it. never use it since i have a lot of Cds and everything on the radio sucks cause of all the comerials

 

I use my ipod and itrip so i dont have to make or burn or buy more cds

 

i got a cd player from walmart that has a aux port for mp3 players, a usb for god knows what, and a sd card slot for music. got a 2gb card in it with 1500 songs on it and a couple mp3 discs with about 180 mp3s each. hella music. and the stereo was only 76 bucks!!!!

 

MP3 discs are great people trip when they see how many songs are on one disc.

you should be ableto put some songs on a jump drive and use that as the cd.

 

how for down did he snap it. why on earth did you have to take of your whole fender to replace it? it just screws on.unless he snapped the threads off to?

 

yes i have the pioneer CDplayer/GPS system with an I pod hook up so i have 30 gigs of music at the touch of a screen i got sick of the radio if i want new music i go to the store buy the CD and rip it to my puter and never see the CD again. and have it as a backup just in case
