a stock dohcmight be worth one wheel hp but thats it.....g tech measure at the crank right?....be carefull with the pacesetter you have to weld on a little thing so it will fit in there so that makes going turbo a pain but i have a friend who will trade me his out the box for my already done pacesetter[8D]

It measures at the wheels. I trust it, it acuratly predicted what Summitsaid their TB spacer gave at the wheels and what I've heard from people who have done the DOHC PCM swap and actually chassis Dyno'ed theirs.

ya the g tech is an awesome monitoring system very accurate but dont forget with taking the old header off and putting a new one on you also have to remove i believe it was the alternator bracket or something to get those last 2 header bolts off on the passenger side of the engine bay. 1 more thing i know sometimes the hedman header(S) i know there arent 2 btw come with paper gaskets try and get the metal ones bc the paper ones rot through and leak metal gaskets are better imo. and just be sure to torque those header bolts tocorrect specifications

When I did my header I didn't have to take alternator bracket off, all though I did rip that heatshield off and threw it in the garbage, I cut it off with tin snips(I think the heat shield was why alternator bracket is recomended to be taken off and the furthest right exhaust bolt when looking at back of head) I went to Autozone and bought the felpro gasket that is like a soft metal and it works great.

on the DOHC you have to remove the alt bracket. I know i have done it. I had a pacesetter that i didnt have to weld. at least for me on the DOHC
