For the last 3 days my car has been acting up:

First day i was going around a corner and it shut off! It would start but sounded like it was running off of 2 cyl. It had no more at all to even more the car without stalling. but then it ran fine all of a sudden and i went on with my day.

yesterday it shut off when i was parked talking to someone for 10 mins and then it took 10 mins to get it started then it ran fine all the way home. I went to autozone and the reader said manufactor ignition problem so i bought new wires and plugs gap them correctly and even torqued then down correctly. lol

but this morning after a fine day of driving it wouldn't start but i only had 4 mins to tinker with it? What can this be?

I think it might be the fuel pump! I don't hear it kick on with the key on! Anyone know how to test this?

 

deffinatly the fuel pump, mine did the same thing when i was comming off an exit ramp. the ramp was really long so im guessing the fuel was held to the one side of the tank also i had about 60 miles till i would have run out of fuel but on the top of the hill it died on me had enough momentum to coast to the next gas station. filled it up and it ran fine for about 3 months after that. then one day it just quit would only idle good but as soon as i hit the gas peddle it would spudder.
I got a fuel pressure tester and it read about 25psi at the fuel rail under the hood. it should read about 49psi. . . . what a long week. long story. . .

 

nice how did you get the pump out it looks like it is right on the side but did you drop it down ect?
