How hard is it to replace a heater core in an 98 neon, auto, with ac? I tried searching and could not come up with anything.

not too hard. get a haynes manual. its in there.
that way you look in there while working instead of gettin your keyboard greasy.

i used this http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us...rInfoPages.htm

except i didnt do step 1.. cuz i dont know anything about that

you need a fully dedicated day for it..

take off all the plastic parts then work on detaching the dash frame i had to cut some of the wires then splice them back together but other then that it was just time consuming and well worth saving the $500 the shop wanted for them to do it .. i really kow nothing about this car either so if i can do it then so can others

haha its really not difficult just time consuming... i could have done it faster but i had no tools thats why i bought a shiat load of tools with my last paycheck.. i think it was 4 or 5 hours but if you knew what you were doing it could prolly be done in 2 or 3... but it was well worth it... i just hope it never goes out again
