my 96 neonhas been sitting for about 6 months. Got her running today and changed the plugs and wires before I took her down the road. After a few minutes of driving the check engine light came on and it started hesitating and jerkingwhile cruising in 5th. i can downshift and lay into it and it will go on. i pulled the codes and got code 43 whichis a misfire. I thought it might be bad gas since its been sitting for so long. Could that make it throw a code 43? Any other suggestions?

 

Check to make sure the plugs are in correctly and the wires are all snapped in place. Also check the coil pack for any cracks.
