now wen u say unplug the old gauges, do u mean take a bulb out or how do u do that?
and i only need the one wire for the cluster, can i use the others for my neon ligh bars?
and they will only turn on wen the light stick is pulled.

no do not use this to power your light bars...gauges yes....anything else no...

ok well if i dont unplug the stock lights, will they glow threw?, and do the lights come on wen u put on the regular lights.
like wen u pull that little stick, do they com on or do u have to use the dimming switch?
and wat color are ur needles?, can u change them?

 

yeah when you pull on the little stick they come on too. thats why you hook it up to the big green wire its what turns the stock ones on so in turn it turns the aftermarket ones on...and on the other gauges the voltage regulater came with three of those little clips that you plug the aftermarket gauges into and my aem gauges had the same pulg on the back so extened the wires up my piller to the gauges so they will light up when i turn the lights on so in otherwords i just used the left over plugs to power my voltage and vac. gauges so i dident have to run more wires. and dont worry about the glow threw part. if you look up at 99neons pic that he took with his phone thats exactly what yours will look like when you turn them on.

 

ok so if they come on with the stick, wats the dimmer for, cant u dim them with the stcik?

 

no and thats the wierd thing just turns them on...

 

yeah it turns them on and thats it. Thats why they give you a dimmer switch so u can adjust the brightness. Good spot for it as i said before is on oyur fod light/rear window defog panel. Take a drill bit (proper size of course and drill right through it where it wont hit anything. You unplug the wires before hand so its just the box.

 

ok, when i put my guages on two of the needles popped off n wont stay in, and then the two that stayed in wont move, anybody got a solution???

 

ok here is what you do. For the 2 needles that wont come off try doing this. Get 2 butter knives and stick them under the needle that is stuck. then put a little pressure and it should pop off. if you want to put them back on, connect your cluster back into the dash, turn your car on and let it warm up for a little bit. then stick the needles back in slowly. YOU NEED A BIT OF PATIENCE
