Default 97 neon leaking coolant

So its now Saturday morning. As I was parking my car wed night, I turned the wheel and heard a loud pop. I figured it was just a suspension pop as it likes to do that. Friday morning I drove it shortly without problem. Fright night when I started it I heard this gurgling noise and the coolant temp shot up to 175F. I turned the car off and got out to see a waterfall of coolant gushing from the bottom of the car. I just jacked it up to check the freeze out plugs, and from what I can see, 2 of them on the back of the block are fine. The leak is coming from the side of the engine near the alt, but I can't see if there is another plug there or not. Is there another plug behind the alt, on the side of the block? If it isn't a plug what else could it be? Would a best case be a hose, worst case is a cracked block? Estimates for repair in all scenarios?

the loud pop could be the seal coming out of the water pump

Sounds like it's time for a new water pump, timing belt and tensioner pulley.
