Hey, i just bought this new cluster (gauges), not the face but the whole thing,for my car because my other one broke when i removed the needles.. Everything works fine except for the speed. It stays at 120 MPH. Even when i turn off the car it stays at 120MPH. My question is WHY? It is new, so whats the problem here?

 

ok try this if this dont work then i dont know but this fixed mine...

1) take cluster out...
2) turn cluster upside down so needle comes to middle.
3) Roll cluster while turning it back around so needle goes back down to 0mph
4) reinstall cluster

Awesome! That did it!..now, i have a post about the white gauges, which is what messed up my first cluster. I just got my new cluster in today. I want to put the white face on, but i am hesitant because i dont want to ruin my new cluster. Is there a way to put the face on without taking out the needles?

 

yep you just have to go really slow and work them on they will go just dont get mad take your time.

I took the needles out and mine works

 

the needles were a pain for me! but yea. they finally work. But you know wut sucks..lol. i think my speedometer is screwed up..ill be going the speed but it wont feel like it. for example ill be going 40mph, but it will only read as 25mph. idk if its just me or if its screwed up.

 

the needle might be gettin stuck trying double sided tape or glue to hold the white face down against the cluster face
