you need a valve spring compressor....

 

how hard is it to do spud???????and if u know how think u can give me some info on doing it?

 

i bought an overhead valve spring compressor from an autoparts store for about $50....its pretty easy, i never used one before but had all 16 of mine changed in about 45 minuites....
the haynes manual give you step by step instructions on removal and installation

 

its a freaking PITA! i hate assembling heads i get so frustrated doing it sometimes. but like spud said u need a vlave spring compressor to do it (the correct one also)

i get aggrivated with the little retainer locks....use grease to hold them in place...it will help out a hell of alot
