ok before i came back from Oklahoma i had my oil changed at walmart and that was on Sunday the 25th and today is Thursday the 29th... well onto the story... i was driveing and i noticed a horrible sound comeing from my engine... so i got off the highway and turned off my car.. i thought maybe it was the transmission cuz it stopped when i pushed in the clutch well i was checking everything and the oil was completely empty.. it didnt show up on the dipstick.. so what is going on ?? im gonna monitor my oil closely from now on but in 4 days go bone dry[>:] im pretty confused as to what is going on.. i didnt notice and leaks wheni was putting the oil in.. but i was thinking maybe out of the tail pipe but i never checked for oil in the muffler or know if its possible.. but i really know of anything else that could have happened...

 

take it backto walmart and ask them wtf they did

 

im guessing that this has never happened before and had no problems with leaking. if no. they did something. did you check if the oil filter is tight and the drain plug???

 

double check the oil pan plug and filter and check to make sure its the right one, and I would definately take it back to the nearest wally world and ask to speak to the service manager or store manager as if it their screw up they might owe you a new engine

 

if they put a fram filter on your car then it should be a PH3614....check the number and see if maybe they put the wrong one on....the number is right on the side of the filter

 

ok ill check that out thanks ill check all that when i get a chance.. but even after haveing oil in it today im still haveing a chattering noise comeng from the engine bay but only when i slowly accelrate but if i get on it then it goes away. ill check to see if anthing is rubbing anywere idk its just weird

 

It's not just weird its bad... that chatter is the top of the block being strived of oil. Check your oil again i bet its low...seriously you need to take it back to wally world soon before they can say oh well its been like 5 weeks it could be anything.
