ok i know it invloves removing the gas tank. i attepted to drop it but the bolts are stripped and there is no way to get it now so my dad said as a joke and i am considering it now, but wat if i found exactly where the pump is at on top and cut a big hole in my flor and then rivit and caulk it bak would that actually work?

i wish i had a pic. but yeah the pump is located on the bottom of the tank, on the passenger side of the car. The one on my 95 had a cover that went over it but my 98 didnt

oh well hell i was thinking that it was located at the top for some reason well that changes everything and since i am at like at 1/16th of a tank i guess it wont be to hard then huh

ive never removed one but thats where it's located. i'm pretty sure you have to drain the tank

well i put a new fuel pump in and its still shorting out wtf?
