Default Need some ideas

So I'm on a pretty limited budget here and looking for some cheap ways to up the HP on my neon. I have what I've done to it listed in the signature already, but like I said, I'm wanting some ideas. Another question, would putting a performance PCM be a good idea? My car is a manual and I've heard that putting one in wouldn't be as great a buy because I can't really mess with the fuel curve. Thanks

1) CAI (go the 3.0 way, cheap)
2) Muffler (get one from a DOHC)
3) Weight redux (free)
4) UDP

UTA

ATX TB would help your throttle response.

A Mopar PCM would be nice, but keep in mind that you have to purchase 93 octane to run it.

For simplicity sake, we'll say budget is around $500. As for the Mopar PCM, how much HP would that add?

It's been dyno'd to show about 6 HP to the wheels. It also depends on supporting mods.

ONe thing that I had heard is that a performance PCM wouldn't be the greatest of ideas, because my car is a manual so I couldn't really mess to much with the fuel curve and shift points. Do you know if there is any validity to that or not?

NOT. The PCM determines the amount of fuel dumped into the engine.
