sohc 2 dohc swap
ive got a wrecked 99 dohc and a nice 98 sohc car with a thrown rod what do i have to change to swap them can i leave the harness on the dohc and plug it in to the 98 and change the ecm or not thanks for any help

pretty easy swap...97-99 were identical with the wireing harness well sohc to sohc and dohc to dohc.
1)leave the wireing harness on the dohc motor.
2)swapthe motor.
3)take the dohc computer put it in plug the motor wiring harness and chassis harness into the computer and go....
simple. by far the easyest of all the swaps.
