Hydraulic vs spring tensioner
Any thoughts? I see where there are spring tensioners complete with bracket and timing belt on E-bay for less than $100 plus shipping. Autozone has the tensioner alone for about $43.
Also is the hydraulic tensioner really that or is there a coil spring inside the housing?
As an aside, I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday, Ebay huxters.
If Summint Racing can send me a set of Flomaster 2 1/2" tail pipes for my '64 Plymouth for their $10.95 handling fee plus a small over size part charge, why do you charge $30 to $40 to ship your Pacific Rim junk?

if you talking about the machanical (sp) tentioner its supposed to be better and last longer and easyer to change your timing belt...other then that Not much...They are highly perfered now.
