Default Hydraulic vs spring tensioner

Any thoughts? I see where there are spring tensioners complete with bracket and timing belt on E-bay for less than $100 plus shipping. Autozone has the tensioner alone for about $43.
Also is the hydraulic tensioner really that or is there a coil spring inside the housing?

As an aside, I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday, Ebay huxters.
If Summint Racing can send me a set of Flomaster 2 1/2" tail pipes for my '64 Plymouth for their $10.95 handling fee plus a small over size part charge, why do you charge $30 to $40 to ship your Pacific Rim junk?
