98 Neon Died and wont start
Ok, so I'm posting for my brother who has a 98 neon 2.0 SOHC. Well a couple of days ago he was driving when his car suddenly died. Now it just cranks and wont start. He says that there wasnt any unusual things going on before it died.
I checked the valve on the fuel rail to see if there was fuel pressure when the key was in the on position. Only a little bit of fuel sprayed out is this normal? or shoud there be a lot more.
I'm not used to working on piston engine yeah, yeah, yeah flame me if you want.( I was learned on the rotary) Just please... any info/help would greatly be apprecitated.

35 is Radiator fan control relay circuit problem.
When i took of my fuel hose while it was running i got alot of gas out.
Did you check for spark? If you think its the fuel pump try hitting the tank a few times then starting it.

i had the same problem check ur fuses and when u turn the key make sure u here the fuel pump

Thanks for the info guys. I'll have to check the fuel pressure and the spark. Do they sell spark testers at autozone,napa etc.?
I did check the fuses and the Rad/fan fuse is blown. everything else looks fine. It's just the location of the car and me, I live about 200 miles away from it but I'll check it this weekend. Once again thanks guys.

have you checked the cam or crank sensor? also the ignition coil goes bad on these also.... any 1 of these or multiple 1s of these issues could be whats wrong... all of them are fairly easy to get to and replace
