Nothing.

Removing the P/S in a neon isn't that bad and I didn't have my lines looped either. People confuse removing the P/S system with just removing the P/S belt. It is much tougher to steer with JUST the belt removed as opposed to removing the whole system.

The only place you might miss the P/S is in parking lots or during parallel parking. On the freeway it's GREAT!

1 advantage to having no powersteering is that you will get to "feel" the road more

cept you might not like turning the wheels when ur not moving...my satellite has no power steering, and you only notice it when ur not moving, but other than that it seems to be very close to the same when ur abouve 10 mph

Heard before there is a 5% gain low end power and/or acceleration, as there is less parasitic drag. Frees up plenty of room in the engine bay too, when all the p/s hardware is removed.

^^^Your satellite is also alot heavier than the neon I would think.

Attached is an engine bay shot of my old 97 with the A/C & P/S removed.

when i was home on leave i ran my neon without powersteering and it wasnt to bad. . . that was only without the belt the only time i really noticed it was when i wasnt moving other than that it was great
However in the M1114 HMMWV or Humvee, you noticed it a lot every rock or pebble in the road would jerk the wheel right out of your hands if you didnt have a death grip on it but it was a good workout. and it turned 3 point turns into about 10 point turnes
moral of the story is for the neon its not notacable at most times, but some cars need it espicaly the bigger heavier ones
