Reverse Lights! Help!!

Reverse Lights! Help!!
I have a 95' Dodge Neon. It is an automatic. My reverse lights don't work. I went to Oreilleys last night, the bulbs were good they tried new ones anyways still did not work, fuses were also good. They gave a Safety Neutral switch, and told me it goes on the transmission on the backside under the hood. Does anyone know where this would be? Also what else it might be if it is not the Neutral Safety Switch?

RE: Reverse Lights! Help!!
Also try a test light and multi-meter.
This would let you know that you have voltage & ground to the socket when you should. If no ground is available or no power then of course no light. If you find voltage with a multi-meter and verify ground then use a test light and see if it lights when probing power side where voltage was found. If it does not than the problem would be resistance in the wiring. This is an important step because if your wiring is bad that no amount of control parts will fix. Must fix wires.
Also you can check your power to your Fuse Socket the same way. With the car in reverse you should get continuity to ground in socket on outlet of fuse.
Then check down at intervening circuit parts such as switches, etc...
