ok I did about a hours worth of research and the best N/A neon i could find is Jeff B's NYG with the 2.4 in it... this dyno is the difference between crane 22's Red and crane 24's blue... for the best run of 235WHP/185WTQ...

and i do know 200hp is good all motor(4 banger wise) but 300hp was better ...i use to want to make my stratus a turbo but it's to much work...i think it just needs more work to perfect it's all motorness as soon as this job thing works out i will start saving up for a complete rebuild and put in a call to amm and have him do some of thegood **** he likes to do

no it wasent streetable.... loop was so high it ideled like a pro stock car...lol
anyways, I made the decition to get a crane 14, after talking to some people I come to find out that its not neccicary to have all the upgrades that crane has in there description...ie higher compression race prepped head... Its just what makes the cam happyest and where you will see the absoulute best gains... I am going to get the crane springs and a aem tru time cam gear, but heres the queston... The intake side of things are going to be well past good enuf, could I take a wire wheel thats just a little bit bigger then the exaust port and port it out just a little bit just useing the wire wheel, I know it would clean it out and what not assuming that it would smooth out the casting in the exaust port as well but I dont know if that type of thing would take metal out and portit just a bit also...

700 hp? n/a, dude i'd hate to doubt u but im callin b.s. on that one. What is his settup? 400hp on a 2.0l 4 banger n/A is hardcore but 700? thats insane! i gotta see this, seriously that would make my day to see a neon, running n/a making close to the same power out of a 2.0 as my dad make in his 460 ford drag truck. he's got more than twice the displacement and getting up in those numbers has cost him dearly! gimme something to throw in his face that'll make me smile!
