when i attempt to start my car gas leaks from the tank like a ****...literally POURS out like theres a hole in my tank....i can hear my fuel pump whine...but before i go spending $200 on that could it possibly just be the gasket?

 

Can you see exactly where the leak is coming from?

 

coming from the fuel pump, but cant tell exactly where...but its noticable, lol....tried firing her up for the first time in 6 months, of course the battery is dead...tryin to get it squared away before the management at my apt complex attempts to tow it tomorrow

 

Could be a dry rotted gasket. That's what was wrong on my ACR when I bought it.

 

Could also be a busted high pressure line, my bro's g/f had that happen on her shadow right next to the muffler. It was not just gas spewing out, either, it was a giant cloud of vapor, LOL!
