i have a kid with a 95 neon 2 door, i am thinking about taking it and droppin a 2.4 into it with twin charger????? anyone seen one done like that????? and anyone helping with the tuning part of it i would be greatfull....

you never mentioned how much boost you were running...... or is that secret too

 

12 psi, awaiting a new smaller pulley for more bost.
$100 for a rebuilt m90 is a good deal........
The tunning is ez if ur running MS......

ok 6sic6 gotta question... just wondering why exactly do you need to intercool a supercharger??? I understand why you need one on a turbo due to the exaust gasses heating up the turbo hence heating up the air... but the supercharger takes air straight from the tb and what not... I just dont see why you would need it... does the supercharger really heat the air up, due to it compressing the air???

 

first off sorry for thread jacking but.....

well I called the guy that had the "fully rebuilt M90" today... said yeah bring it by I'll grab it from ya... he came over and hands me a m62 used not fully re-built and has about 1/16th inch shaft play... I told him dude this is not a M90 and this is not fully rebuilt... so he was like well ok thats just what I was told how about 50 bucks... So I handed that money over quick and now have to figure out how to mount it to my DOHC motor out in the garage...I know I can do it... Just need to think it threw... but 6sic6 I will be asking a few questions... just to let you know... not many just a few...

I think I'm going to take it down to the machine shop and have it cleaned and dissasembled... just going to buy a rebuild kit off ebay to get rid of the shaft play....

6sic6 just out of curiosity... does the supercharger oil smell like cat ****??? He told me the smell was the supercharger oil...

cat **** is the only thing i can compair it to... it stinks bad...

 

ok well where did you get the chromes for the front..i want a set ..and i wasnt sure wat back spacing to get ..but those look just about right for wat i want ...wat exactly are they ..and how do i get my hands on a set.
