Supercharged ShowOff Whore.......:) 56kNO
yeah, cooler is better, no dought, but it also depends on how it is used and when.......not nessasarly for hp, but for (as stated above) detination.... i dont want my car to dentanate do u??? lol
Yea but i am starting a 2.4 build now. The superchager caught my eye. How hard is it to modify it to fit and work? I dont like the turbo. Takes to long to spool.
I'm guessing an arm a leg your left nut and your first born child... and that would just be for him taking the brackets off and tracing around them with a pencil on the peice of paper...
Now I'm not trying to be a dick but you have to think about it... if you put all this time and money into something to be original and be pretty much the only one to have a set up like this would you want someone else to have it...
but if you take a good look at his pics and think about it for 2.3 sec's, then go get some cardboard out to your car and take the intake manifold off so you can get down there then have a friendtake the supercharger line it up with the pullys then you can start making a bracket with a the cardboard. just get it close your first try... get the bolt holes where it lines up with the block and get a U shape for the supercharger and get the fingers of the U to line up with the bolt holes of the supercharger and theres the basic ouline of a bracket... now refine it with more carboard till you can acually bolt the cardboard up to the engine and then you can take if off and trace it on metal cut it out... now repeat for the rear bracket... you should ask him for the pic of the plate that goes over the supercharger... havent you wonderened how he got all the boost from the supercharger if you look at just the supercharger theres a huge hole.... I have the pic saved on my puter from about 6 months ago but its not my car sooo....

I prob wouldnt take it all off to duplicate the brackets or i MITE have considerd selling brackets. 95to96transplantneon, is rite tho, you can do this yourself.

do you mind me asking what about you paid for the whole setup... minus the gauges and ms and all that good stuff... Just the supercharger and hoeses and intercooler blah blah blah... you know what i mean.. I have allways wanted to do this since I saw yours and I think I can do it and after looking at how much the m62, m90's are on ebay... kinda tempting... I know your getting around 12psi around 6000 rpm, and I know thats a bit much on a stock block... can you set a boost controller up to a superchager??? or just let the wastegate do it???
Bout $1600, there isnt a wastegate or a boost controller. Boost is changed by swapping a diff pulley on the charger or crank. This pulley is 3.8" and the biggest I could find. Iam planning on a smaller pulley now that I have a built motor.
I would def suggest usig an m90 or even better an m112. My m62 puts out 1ltr of air every revolution, the m90 is about 1.5ltrs and the M112 2ltrs. The m112's are a little pricey tho.

I can get 2 of them right now cheap. cheap.
