Default rrfpr help plz

So i put it in and when i adjust it the pressure will stop at 58 and won go any higher. WHats that about. What should i run for pressure at idle? After its all good can i go beat on it or what? Oh yea do i need to tune or adjust anything else besides the idle pressure. My air/fuel gauge is going crazy? Maybe a short? it reads everything b ut rich? I drove it and it seem to run better with the fpr. Well any helps would be great. I need the car to get to school.

for your idle fuel pressure you would be safe to run about 48-55 psi....probally stick to about 50psi...

if you have a cheap air fuel gauge then it will always go crazy......they arent good for anything except a light show....
if your actually wanting to get a reading from it then you will have to get a wide band air fuel gauge..

do you have the inline fuel pump and the stock fuel pump hooked up??? and a return line??
how do you have the regulator hooked up???

I have the walboro high pressure in the tank. I got the regulator hooked up with return out the bottom. I have a inline pump. I didnt spoolboy mod it. Should i try by-passing the regulator thing thats outside the tank? I have an in-line walboro but i didnt put in on because someone was saying that they were getting way to much gas. What do you think. According to the a/f gauge i have it runs rich while first running. Then after i get on it for a bit it runs lean for a while. Then back to rich. It will run rich no matter what until it reachs operating temp. I will grab some picks of the setup if youd like? I have been having problems after my sister spilled pop on the laptop.

if you dont have the inline fuel pump hooked up, then thats why you are only getting 58 pounds of fuel...you need about double that while building boost....
as long as you use the inline fuel pump then there is no reason to have to bypass the stock regulator...

if sumone had an inline fuel pump hooked up and was getting too much fuel, then its because they either didnt have a regulator hooked up, or it wasnt adjusted properly...

adding an inline fuel pump will drasticly raise your fuel pressure....but thats why you have a regulator and a return line

Well i thought the 90 psi pump would work. So i should but the inline after or before the stock fpr? After i assume? Then i should be square?

yes after...
this is how your fuel system should run:

intank fuel pump>>>>inline fuel pump>>>>fuel rail/injectors>>>>aftermarket fuel regulator>>>>return line>>>>back to the intank fuel pump

theres two parts of the spool boy...

1 installing a aftermarket high flow pump

and

2 adding the return lines to the top...

in his case he does not have either....

I really dont know where he is dumping the fuel from the return line back into his tank but he is going to run into problems if he dont put the return line in the pump like the spoolboy mod is supposed to be done... first time he runs less then a 1/4th a tank the pump is going to get hot as hell and burn up and then he will run lean as hell and boom goes his motor...

I did a return line. And i used a high pressure walboro 255. Soolboy mod has to do with by-passing the regulator on the module for a plastic tank. It also makes it so more fuel can flow out of the sending unit itself. Correct? a return line and a high pressure fuel pump is not the spoolboy mod. Correct?

intank fuel pump>>>>inline fuel pump>>>>fuel rail/injectors>>>>aftermarket fuel regulator>>>>return line>>>>back to the intank fuel pump

So i do by-pass the stock regulator or u just forgot it on you diargram thingy?
