Default intake and exhaust manifolds

ok so u guys answered my question about the intake manifold...but does the second generation magnum intake bolt right up and use the same throttle body ...next question is how do i get a bigger exhaust manifold without buyin a pacesetter or any other type of tube design...we also have a 96 cavilier and we changed the exhaust manifold for the 96 with a 89 cavalier manifold because the 89 was much bigger...anything like that u guys can think of formy neon...thank you

No, it does not bolt right up and takes quite the modding to get it to work correctly. You have to also use a 2nd gen starter and throttle cable to start with.

Stock throttle cable "should" work. Mine did. I did have to use a 2nd gen starter.

Dosent the mag xhoust mani bolt rite up but a few holes on the mani need to be "slotted"?

yeah they need to be sloted or just drill new holes using the gasket as a templet...

different years had different lengths of tb cables the 95s and early 96s had short ones and late 96 on had long ones you could go bungee jumping with...

for the headers i would honestly invest. i noticed a big advantage when i added mine. get the long ones though, the short tubed headers just dont scavenge right.

im not allowed to invest in a header or i would ...trust me im not cutting corners when it comes to buying high performance parts ...( but only wat i can get away with) ..its pretty easy to see that i have an aftermarket header if i would buy it..ya know wat i mean ..these motors are suppose to be bone stock ...and i know for a fact that i need more flow from the exhaust but i dnt kno how to go about doing it...it must appear to be stock

Do they pull your header off to check for porting or do they just look at the outside? I ask because my track pulls stuff off to make sure it appears stock. I ported the crap out of mine and then used sodium hydroxide to pit the head back up. Looks just like when I started only alot bigger.
One note to add is Sodium hydroxide can react violently withaluminum if it is not diluted right.
