Default Looking for a low tone muffler

So im taking my brothers neon off his hands since he has a new car, and im doing some maintenance, hes got this flowmaster super 40 delta flow series muffler on there now and its loud and annoying, im trying to avoid going out and buying a retail muffler, i was wondering if you guys knew of any mufflers with very low tones to them?

We have advanced auto parts here. They have universal mufflers all sizes from $20-$80 I have the $20 one on my old nean and it was only loud when you got up on it otherwise your couldent here it. And when it does get louder it seems to be a more deep sound. I am sure the have similar things at o'reilys, napa, advanced idiots. Or just go get a stock muffler from the junkyard. I have never paid more then $50 to have muffler work done on my car at a shop.

Maybe. try this http://www.advanceautoparts.com/ Or try ebay. They were called like turbo flow and dyno flow. You can get them from 2 inch to like 3.5 inch.

I went with one of the DOHC OEM mufflers from advance autoparts...webster muffler i believe, and i ordered a catco cat off ebay for 50, im gona have penn muffler install new pipes and install the parts. This is just a daily driver, not a race car, so i didnt need any real expensive performance mufflers or loud sounding stuff. I did look up some videos of the dynomax and borla etc and just wasnt what i was looking for.

Cat converter i bought

muffler looks like this

new tires i just ordered as well, falken ziex were bald on this when i started driving it.

So i got the muffler today, and i was a bit surprised, its actually a Quiet flow series as listed on the Dynomax website here http://www.dynomax.com/sounds/flash/sounds.html not sure what that means but i guess this isnt the same as the OEM's?
