hey i got a 96 sohc and the heatercore is shot im trying to get it out but i cant figure what is holding it in place and how i disconect it from the ac side of the box here are some pictures to show u how far i have the car aprat all heap is needed thanks

the dreaded heatercore, i hate doing heatercores so much lol ive done 1 on practically every car ive owned, and im praying my neon doesnt have one go.

 

Looking at that makes me want to cry...[&o]

 

lol i no i only pulled bar out of the way and i didnt remove the steering colum just enoug space to get the heater box out i aint trying to move everything where i have to reroute wires. in the mean time i got a ntrous maximizer 2 nx controler and plx that im wiring up so i can use the p0rogesive controler and maybe i can safely spray 150 shot on 110 octane wityh 2 step colder plugs and spray it on stock internals at teh track i got wide band tach signal all the goodies. but the damm heater core i got to do so im dooing it all right now

 

i took steering wheel and the metal frame out the dam box wont move i took 3 bolts out on the engine side here is a pic

the 150 shot will put you at around 300 hp and the rods will start to bend around 250... just to let you know...
