wow, for a modified intake those are some long runners! usually people shorten them for more hp on the upper rpm range. looks like he mostly just made the plenum bigger and got rid of the 90deg. bend on the tb side. makes sence though, having short runners tends to rob your low rpm torque, and the 90deg. bend just after the tb is a serious thief! looks like he does some really nice work. I want to set up a flow bench, so i can start working on porting heads THE RIGHT WAY.im surethe head i just got done porting flows better, but without a flow bench i dont know how Much better. also it would be nice to be able to just mess around with the bench and differant parts to see what and where hp is being robbed by bad design. did he use a neon tb? or did he switch it up? i know that some people are making the box mani and using something like a jeep tb bored out to 60mm. of course that would also move your torque and hp into a higher rpm range.

I paid 375 shipped for it... long runner is the best for slightly modded cars, if you saw the runners inside and felt the power difference you would be a believer... since I dont have a long tube header but all the bolt ons with anNAbuildi needed the long runnerto give me some high end so i dont dog off the line... med runner is pretty good for people that are higher compression or cams... and short runner is really only for turbo applications... heres the funny thing... my manifold is the first manifold that he ever made for a customer... I got it and was like wow that looks freaking sweet... then after talking to mike on the phone he was like damn that thing is ugly compaired to my new ones.... This one is acually going to be for sale after I get it off some time this week and send it off to mike to get fixed... the previous owner stripped one of the tb bolt holes and I heli-coiled the holes with the heli-coils that the previous owner told me to... and they ended up being just a little off hence stripping them as well so mike is going to fix it for me send it back then I am going to be selling it...

yes the longer runners are better for a bolt on and probably a highly modded engine over a short runner mani. and eventhough it has the some what long runners u still lose a little low end with it. heres the latest one that i have pics of ..................
