Default Control arm bushings and their affect on alignment

Well my alignment is off, severely on the car, its been like this for a while, my brother never had it fixed, and there was always a loud clunking sound when y ou turn the wheel beyond a certain point. Now that im driving the car i see that the car is pulling VERY hard to the right, it looks like im practically in a turn when going straight. I just had the new tires mounted on the car and i need to get this corrected ASAP before it starts to wear into the new tires. However we have narrowed the clunking noise to the control arm bushings being bad, and i was wondering that if i go and get an alignment, do i have to worry about the control arm bushings throwing the alignment off, either from A) being bad or B) getting takin off and fixed

if the control arm bushings are bad you will never get a correct alignment. it will allow for too much slop. can you grab the wheel (when its off the ground) and move it around? and im not talking about moving side to side to make the steering rack function, im talking specificaly slop (slack). in any case if those bushings are bad they NEED to be replaced if you ever want to rely on them[&:]

Ok now about replacing them? What is involved with that, i can get the bushing kit no problem but how hard are they to change?
