has any one here expiramented with the mega squirt system. i was wondering if that was the way to go if your wanting to turbo later?

 

Even with a stock motor you can get quite a bit more power from MS, you have to remember your pcm is tuned for economy in mind hence seriously de-tuning you motor... With MS you can get around all those little things and let your motor perform to the max. no matter what your setup...

 

i have been told about ms but where do you get it on the internet?

 

Talk to spikeymikey on the sec gen forum, he did what u are thinking of doing, he started with the ms, then turboed it later.... he would be ur best bet for info on the ms, i am going to run it this year but have not started the setup

these guys sell the MS with maps for our motors so it allready has a base map for a 420a i know our motors are not 420a's but they basicly are exept the head has been switched around... so all you have to do is install it, load the pre-made map, and it runs like you stock neon... then you can tune the map from there... just back up the origanal file so if you mess up to bad you can just reload the good one...

squirt from rs auto is a mega squirt 1 not a 2. so shouldnt we use a mega 2 instead? and if i build it my self wat mod kits do i need? and how do i add sihft light control and launch control? and should i use the new experimental ignition mod from rs so i can use higher dwell? i was thinking of geting the msd coil pack maybe that can handle a higher dwell

 

and can the mega squirt control the automatic? and how do you raise when and auto shifts at? is it controled by the computer? do i have to get a af/x computer to make the auto shifter higher? along with mega squirt?
